3 Ways to Celebrate the Arts this February in Los Cabos

Get your art appreciation on this month in Los Cabos, Mexico! Three great events make it easy to experience a variety of artists and musical performances.

1. Todos Santos Open Studio Tour
Located about an hour from Cabo San Lucas on the Pacific side of the peninsula, Todos Santos is a charming “Pueblo Mágico” (magical town) known for its rich history and lovely colonial architecture. Surrounded by a lush palm oasis, Todos Santos also happens to be home to a thriving art scene, with many wonderful galleries. The annual Open Studio tour is a great opportunity to take in a diversity of artworks and meet local artists. Proceeds benefit the Palapa Society of Todos Santos, a local charity.

2. San Jose Jazz Weekend
Head to the Plaza del Pescador in San José del Cabo for a weekend of fantastic music. Listen to local and international musicians performing various genres of jazz and blues. Works by local artists will also be on display. Sample great cuisine from one of the plaza’s  delightful restaurants.

3. San José Art Walk
Taking place every Thursday evening from November through June, the San José Art Walk is an experience not to be missed. Stroll the romantic streets of historic San José del Cabo on a warm evening to peruse the paintings, jewelry, sculptures and folk art creations of local artists displaying their works in galleries that keep their doors open late. Live music and specials at local restaurants make it a pleasant experience.
