Where did you stay and what did you enjoy most about each property?
Villa Bellissima
(8BR/11BA, from $4,143/night)
I loved staying at this stunning 8-bedroom villa. It was truly amazing and breathtaking, the open walls and views are so incredible! When you are there you know that you are truly in one of the most beautiful and special places in the world. It is a once-in-a-lifetime property – unless you keep coming back for more! The master bedroom is far and away the best view and design I have seen thus far. You can tell the place was built by a very famous architect and the pictures do not do it justice. Villa Bellissima feels very private and isolated despite its location in the Pedregal neighborhood just minutes to downtown Cabo. I recommend this for groups of couples, families and friends. Villa Marcella
(5BR/6.5BA – Beachfront – from $2,560/night)
Our group really enjoyed Villa Marcella; it was beachfront and beautiful! The villa is very large and the house staff is wonderful making a trip easy and seamless. It is on the edge of the Pedregal Beach, so you can go to where the rocks meet the sea to take great pictures of your group. I liked the length of the pool for swimming and how much seating there is everywhere. The views from every room are amazing and the master bathroom is very impressive. It feels private here for sure. I recommend this villa for groups of couples and families. More about Villa Marcella…
Did you enjoy any special services at the villas? I enjoyed breakfast and dinner from Eat Cabo and both meals were great. To get a 5-star meal in the comfort of a luxury villa with the privacy and service are more than worth it! One day, A Matter of Taste did appetizers around noon after my group got in-villa massages from Suzanne Morel Face & Body Care and this was also a big hit. It was relaxing, easy, and the food was interesting and superb.
We had a small intimate wedding ceremony and cocktail hour at Villa Marcella and this was the best of both worlds with our feet in the sand for vows and everyone enjoying the game room with the bar on the pool deck level for drinks, it was perfect!
Any special new local discoveries? I discovered the beach tables at the Hacienda Cocina y Cantina and this was a great venue for a special dinner. The city night lights and moon shining on the ocean with waves crashing 20 feet away – it doesn’t get much better. The food was out of this world too. I shared a meal for two with steak, chicken and sausage and it was one of the best meals I have ever had.
I found a great little spot for American breakfast in town too. Mama’s Royal Café is inexpensive and great for mimosas, eggs Benedict and French toast. Great when you’re craving a little bit of home brunch!
The funnest thing I have done activity-wise in Cabo was the La Isla Boat, the crew, the vessel and everything was awesome. My group of 17 LOVED it and will never forget this!
