Cabo Trip Report: Jessica’s Luxury Villa Retreat

If you’ve been lucky enough to work with Jessica to plan your vacation in Los Cabos, you know what a superstar she is. One of our senior Cabo Specialists, Jessica loves booking unforgettable trips for her clients and is a true Los Cabos expert. She also happens to love vacationing in Cabo. Here she shares some highlights of her most recent getaway…

Where did you stay? We stayed at Villa Las Piedras. This 5-bedroom villa in Puerto Los Cabos has a beautiful view and a great outdoor area. The living space is very comfortable. As guests at Villa las Piedras, we had access to the nearby beach club for this private community, which a great place to grab breakfast and to hang out during the day. This trip was an awesome way to celebrate my birthday with my family! 

Did you use any services you could recommend? The villa pre-stocking was very convenient – it was so handy to have groceries and drinks waiting for us at the villa when we arrived. After taking our complimentary airport-to-villa transfer, the free Avis car rental delivery to the villa was also another perk.

Did you do any activities you could recommend? When visiting Cabo, I love doing anything on the water! I recommend jet skis, paddle boarding and deep sea fishing.

Any new local discoveries? Buzzard’s Bar & Grill is a really fun place to check out. It’s a bit off the beaten path just past Puerto Los Cabos but is worth visiting for the cool laid-back vibe, great food and an awesome beachfront location. At the Puerto Los Cabos Marina, The Container serves fresh ceviche, fish tacos and creative cocktails. In downtown San José del Cabo, the Tropicana Inn has great Sunday brunch.

Any other highlights from your trip? We got to spend a day at Hotel El Ganzo and it was amazing! This boutique-style resort features fantastic service, good food and wonderful views. The pool there is one of my favorites! We also had the opportunity to visit spectacular Villa Bellissima with some other members of our team. This villa is one of the most luxurious vacation rentals in Cabo San Lucas and it was breathtaking. Another highlight was enjoying an amazing lunch at the wonderful Bar Esquina at the Bahia Hotel which surprised me with a birthday dessert.
