Great Dining, Amazing Views & Pool Volleyball at the All-Inclusive Sandos Finisterra Resort

Our guest Leslie had the pleasure of staying at the recently revamped Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos Resort. In its previous incarnation as the Finisterra, this resort was beloved by Cabo visitors for its amazing hilltop location just steps to both Cabo’s vibrant marina and a beautiful Pacific-facing beach. Newly renovated into a luxurious all-inclusive retreat, this oasis is in the heart of the action, yet feels wonderfully relaxing. Here, Leslie shares what made her stay so special:

What do you love about Los Cabos? I love everything about Los Cabos! I feel safe, the people are all so nice, the weather is gorgeous and so is the setting!

Overall, how was your stay at Sandos Finisterra? My stay at Sandos was AMAZING! The accommodations were wonderful, the staff was super helpful and friendly, and the food was absolutely fabulous! As for my favorite aspect, it’s hard to pick, it’s a tie between the location and the food! I wanted to try everything on the menu! The location is great, you can go to the pool side and have a marvelous ocean view, or you can go up on top to the restaurant/spa side and have a view of the marina.

How were the restaurants at this all-inclusive resort? I don’t think I can pick a favorite, all the food was delightful at Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos Resort. There was an amazing breakfast buffet at Don Diego with a beautiful spread of everything you could want including unique fresh-squeezed fruit juices. The pool restaurant had amazing food, the lower pool restaurant had fabulous bagels, pizza and my favorite salad that had sweet potatoes, apples, honey & cinnamon! Mmmm mmmm mmm! Oh, the Italian restaurant was super yummy too.

Were there any favorite spots at the resort for a cocktail? My favorite spot for cocktails would be on the upper patio by the Don Diego restaurant; there is a wonderful outdoor patio with nightly entertainment. It’s the perfect spot to grab a cocktail! It’s absolutely gorgeous at night too with the marina lights sparkling below.

Did you do any activities? At the resort, I did the water aerobics, pool volleyball and learned how to scuba dive in the pool. The pool volleyball was my favorite, and I don’t normally play volleyball. It was so much fun playing with and meeting the other guests at the resort.

How would you rate the resort’s location? I loved being within walking distance of the marina shopping and nightlife. There were fabulous views on both sides of the resort! You get amazing ocean views on one side and on the other side you can watch people swim with dolphins while you’re eating breakfast.

Would you return to the Sandos Finisterra Los Cabos Resort? I would return tomorrow if I could. I already miss all the friends I made while there. I LOVE SANDOS FINISTERRA!
