Los Cabos is open and welcoming visitors for fun-filled vacations with safety at the forefront. The region has implemented stringent safety measures, including enhanced sanitization, reduced capacity at activities, hotels, and restaurants. Los Cabos has partnered with travel providers to obtain a “Clean Point” certification (Punto Limpio) offered by the Mexico government regarding hygiene protocols and obtained a “Safe Travels” stamp of approval certified by the World Tourism & Travel Council (WTTC).

Who is required to show proof of a negative test prior to departure from Los Cabos? Travelers returning to the following destinations are required to show proof of a negative test prior to their departure from Los Cabos.
– Canada, effective as of January 7, 2021
– The United States, effective as of January 26, 2021
NEW: Requirements for Proof of Vaccination
The U.S. government announced changes to travel policies impacting foreign visitors to the U.S. and American citizens returning to the U.S. that will go into effect November 8, 2021.
At this time, all air passengers ages 2 or older, regardless of citizenship or vaccination status, must show a negative result of a COVID-19 viral test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board a flight to the United States. If you are a non-U.S. citizen who is a nonimmigrant (not a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or traveling to the United States on an immigrant visa), you will need to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before you travel by air to the United States from a foreign country. If you are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19, you will NOT be allowed to board a flight to the United States, unless you meet the criteria for an exception under the Proclamation and CDC’s Order.
Foreign travelers to the U.S. will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination and proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of departure, before boarding a U.S. bound airplane.
Unvaccinated U.S. citizens returning to the U.S. from international destinations will be required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 24 hours of departure, before boarding a U.S. bound airplane and test once again upon return to the U.S.
Vaccinated U.S. citizens returning to the U.S. from international destinations will continue to be required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of departure before boarding a U.S. bound airplane

Offering Our Guests Flexibility
We’re offering flexible travel options for new and existing villa rental bookings. We understand clients may need to reschedule their travel dates and we’re happy to offer our villa guests the option of increased flexibility.
You may reschedule 21 days or more prior to your arrival date, with the same property and number of nights, for travel within one year of the original check-out date, subject to a $100 rescheduling fee. Rescheduled reservations are subject to availability and any applicable price increase for dates of stay. One (1) rescheduling per reservation is permitted. Note: Holiday and Limited Offer reservations may not be rescheduled.

Welcome Back: Cabo is Open for Business
For visitor safety, Los Cabos has implemented a phased reopening approach. Los Cabos is currently in Level 1 (Green) of the BCS phased reopening plan.
- Note: Face masks are required in all public spaces and activities
- Open: Indoor services, restaurants, and activities: at occupancy limit of approximately 1 person per 6.5 square feet
- Curfew of 2 AM
- Social distancing measures in place, including face masks
- Beaches at full capacity
