Los Cabos Open of Surf Returns this June
The annual Los Cabos Open of Surf & Music Fest returns June 7-12, 2016. This multi-day tournament and festival brings some of the world’s best professional surfers to compete in the waters off of the legendary Zippers surf break at Costa Azul just outside of San José del Cabo. Cabo Pulmo: A Conservation Success Story
Thousands of jacks swirl around a group of divers in the pristine, clear waters of the Sea of Cortez just off the East Cape of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula. Nearby, a majestic bull shark sways through the gentle currents as dappled sunlight filters to the sandy seafloor. Colorful reef fish dart among neighboring corals in an exuberant rainbow of colors. Acrobatic sea lions frolic and curiously approach divers. Farther offshore, an enormous whale shark makes a sweeping arch through the sea, its gaping mouth filter feeding on plankton. Today, this enchanting scene at Cabo Pulmo is a testament to one of the world’s most successful conservation efforts.
Fall Diving Highlights & Video from the Sea of Cortez
Recently, our company president, Don Hirschaut, and our CFO, Michelle Hoffman, had the chance to experience some wonderful fall scuba diving in the Sea of Cortez. Don says, “the autumn months are an excellent time to scuba dive and snorkel in Los Cabos, with warm waters and excellent visibility. 10th Anniversary Sabor a Cabo Culinary Festival
The 10th Anniversary edition of the Sabor a Cabo International Food & Wine Festival will be taking place December 2-5, 2015. This multi-day event features a Beer Fest on December 2nd at Plaza del Pescador in San José del Cabo highlighting some of the area’s outstanding microbreweries.
