     This year, more than 50 local, national and international companies will display more than a dozen vessels, plus the latest in gadgets, engines, gear, marine products and accessories at the Cabo Marine Show, taking place May 1-4 at the Cabo San Lucas Marina.     Newly Protected Area at Pelican Rock / Lover’s Beach in Cabo San Lucas Bay

    Our friends at Cabo Sails report that buoys have been set up around Pelican Rock in Cabo San Lucas Bay as part of the National Marine Park effort to protect this precious marine habitat from motorized boats. Placement of the buoys originally began in November, but now the buoys completely prevent access by motorized boats in the area between Lover’s Beach and Pelican Rock.  Buoys also extended from Pelican Rock along the Lover’s Beach shoreline. This will help preserve a beautiful and pristine marine ecosystem.     Here, Tim and Brenda share the endlessly entertaining and hilarious Part 2 of their dream fishing vacation in Cabo San Lucas. Read Part 1 here… Day Two On November 22nd we awoke at 5:30 and had our morning coffee. Today we would begin fishing with Pisces Sportfishing. They are a tremendous outfit. Our Captain Orlando and mate Ernesto were fantastic. Again, our whole trip was set up was done by Earth Sea & Sky Vacations (ESSV, Cabovillas.com). Sales agent Hernan put the package together and it would be tough to find much wrong with what we were fortunate to participate in.
